What Should I Expect?

We’ll ensure SKINVIVE™ is a great fit for you and outline a customized treatment plan.

To reduce the risk of bruising, it’s best to avoid blood thinners or supplements like aspirin and fish oil for a few days’ prior—unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Your provider will perform the treatment, which may cause mild redness, swelling, or bruising.

You might feel some firmness or lumps that typically settle over 1–2 weeks. Follow any specific instructions your provider gives during the procedure.

Redness, swelling, bruising, or itching is normal and should fade in a few days.

Avoid touching or massaging the area for 6 hours unless advised otherwise. Use Tylenol for discomfort, Arnica for bruising, and cool compresses (no direct ice).

Sleep with your head elevated and on your back for 24–48 hours. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking, intense exercise, heat, sun exposure for 24–72 hours.

Wear SPF 30+ daily, avoid harsh skincare and makeup until the next day, and do not submerge your head in water for 24 hours.

Follow up in 14 days to review your results.
