PRP for Eyes

what is it?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a regenerative treatment that taps into your body’s own natural healing power. At The Warren Medspa, we use PRP to refresh and rejuvenate the under-eye area—helping to reduce dark circles, soften fine lines, and improve hollowness. By stimulating collagen production, boosting circulation, and supporting tissue repair, PRP helps restore a brighter, firmer look—all without adding volume or changing your natural features.

How It Works

Platelet-rich plasma is a concentrated component of your blood packed with growth factors. During the treatment, a small amount of blood is drawn, then spun in a centrifuge to isolate the PRP. When carefully injected beneath the eyes, this nutrient-rich plasma encourages collagen production, improves skin tone, and supports natural regeneration in an area that’s often hard to treat. Unlike fillers, PRP works with your body to gradually improve the skin from within—making it a great option for those seeking a non-surgical, more natural approach to eye rejuvenation.

before

Inform your provider if you have any infections, skin conditions, blood disorders, cancer, or are on blood thinners or corticosteroids.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking, and blood-thinning medications or supplements (NSAIDs, aspirin, etc.) for at least 3–7 days before your treatment to reduce bruising and swelling.

Stay hydrated, and avoid sun exposure to prepare your skin. Ensure you understand the procedure, possible risks, and have no contraindications.

during

Your blood (about 20cc) will be drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma.

The activated PRP will then be carefully injected into the delicate skin around your eyes to stimulate collagen and tissue repair.

The procedure takes approximately 45–60 minutes. You may feel mild discomfort or slight swelling during and immediately after injections.

after

Expect mild bruising and swelling for 2–5 days.

Use Tylenol for pain and cold compresses (no ice).

Avoid sun, heat, exercise, and swimming for 2 days.
