What Should I Expect?

During your consultation, we’ll assess your facial structure, review your goals, and select the best filler type and placement for your desired outcome. We may recommend avoiding blood thinners or alcohol 24–48 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising.

Treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes. A topical numbing agent is applied beforehand for comfort. Using precise techniques and a fine needle or cannula, your provider will inject the filler into the targeted areas. Most patients report minimal discomfort, and results are visible immediately.

after

Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or itching is normal and should fade in a few days—contact your provider if it lasts over three.

Avoid touching or massaging the area and limit facial movement for three days to prevent filler migration. Small lumps or firmness may occur and typically settle within one to two weeks. Use Tylenol for discomfort, Arnica for bruising, and cool compresses (no direct ice).

Sleep on your back, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and smoking for 24–48 hours, and skip intense exercise, heat, and sun for three days. Wear SPF 30+ daily, avoid makeup and harsh products until the next day, and don’t submerge your head in water for 24 hours. Pause blood thinners, vaccines, dental work, and other treatments for 1–2 weeks.
